Staff Categories

This maintenance module allows managing the different staff categories, as well as their salary parameters and operational configurations.
The categories defined in this section are used in the «Staff» maintenance module, since every employee must be assigned a category.

  1. Open the Staff Categories module.
  2. Click New to create a category.
  3. Complete the general information.
  4. Configure salary parameters, hours, and bonuses.
  5. Adjust payroll options.
  6. Save the category.
  7. Assign it to employees from the Staff module.

  • StaffStaff: every employee must have an assigned category.

  • Do not delete a category if it is assigned to active employees.
  • Use duplication to create similar categories without starting from scratch.
  • Maintain a logical order to facilitate searches.
